Firstly, it was, without any doubt, one of the most eventful pre-wedding parties of all the time. The billionaire Ambani family and also the billionaire Merchant family celebrated the event for the betrothal of their youngs. But the pre-wedding party took place in Jamnagar instead of Mumbai. The total cost of the event was $100 million. Moreover, celebrities from all over the world attended the wedding. It is clear that this one is going to be difficult to top.
The guest list includes the King and Queen of Bhutan, Mark Zuckerberg, Joshua Kushnar, Bill gates and so on. Anant Ambani is the son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani with a fortune of $117 billion and, on the other hand, Radhika Merchant is the daughter of the founder of healthcare Titan.Â
Famous model Kloss posted snaps on her Instagram and said ‘Cheers to Anant and Radhika’. In one of the posted pictures, she celebrated at a merry-go-round themed bar surrounded by an army of bartenders. The picture is probably from the first night of the three days event themed as ‘an evening in everland’.Â
Among the other extravagances, there was a drone show (largest ever), a private concert by Rihanna which cost almost $6 million, and a luxury accommodation facility for 1200 revelers. Moreover, persons like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg wore Indian dresses to celebrate the happiness of the couple.
When it comes to the bride and groom, Anant wore a white shirt and a black suit, obviously made from the finest cloth. He then wore a red sherwani with leafy work on it and crystal set into the sherwani. Radhika was seen with a gold versace dress and a gold lehenga designed by a london-based house and Manish malhotra respectively.
Almost all the mega stars of Bollywood and their family were present there including Khans and Kapoors. Rolls Royce were there for the special guests.
Although, this party was one for the ages, it remains to be seen how the Ambanis will make the wedding happen on July 12. For those who were lucky enough to secure an invite, the glow is still alive. However, we are attaching more photos from the event for those who remain outside!
