World leaders arrived in southern Italy for the 50th G7 leaders’ summit. The meeting brings together leaders of the world’s seven largest advanced economists to tackle some of the biggest issues. Top of the agenda this year was wars in Gaza and Ukraine. Southern Italy, the region of Pula was elevated for a couple of days to the centre of diplomacy, host to the G7 meeting, the world’s most industrialized nations. The president this year was Italy. The leaders had a much more glamorous location. They were gathered at a Sumptuous resort called Borgonia which had played host to the wedding of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beal. Leaders will tackle a huge array of pressuring issues for the world from the climate crisis to Africa to migration to Ukraine to Artificial Intelligence.
